About
I'm David Dérogée, a Dutch amateur photographer with a passion for traveling and photography. Armed with a backpack and camera, I explore everything from remote mountains to the bustling Arctics. The mountains hold a special place in my heart, from childhood to the Swiss Alps with my parents, to climbing and mountaineering in the French Alps (Chamonix) when I was in my twenties.
In 2018, I explored the Svalbard Archipelago and the Seven Islands up till 84.9 degrees north latitude, where the pack ice to the North Pole starts, further firing my love for the mountains and the amazing beauty of The Arctics. From unprecedented icebergs to amazing views, walrus, whales and polar bears. That's why there are still many locations on my bucket list in the Arctics as Greenland, Iceland & Vesterålen.
In 2025, we purchased the renewed electric iconic VW ID campervan to further explore and photograph beautiful Europe during weekends and holidays. In my professional life, I work as a freelance IT consultant for law firms.
